Jordan Brian Studios is based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Twenty-one years and 500+ weddings, most of them within a half hour of this office. Moorestown, Cinnaminson, Voorhees, Berlin, Shamong, and the whole Burlington County stretch of South Jersey.
A Quick Note From Me
Fifteen weddings a year, and I shoot all fifteen
Nobody gets married in Mount Laurel itself. There is no ballroom here, no barn, no waterfront. What there is, is a town sitting in the middle of everything else. The Moorestown Community House is the next town over. The Merion in Cinnaminson, Lucien’s Manor in Berlin, the Collingswood Grand Ballroom, and the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees are all short drives. Trump National is down in Pine Hill. Valenzano is out in Shamong and Bishop Farmstead is deeper into the Pines. I have photographed weddings at every one of them, so when you tell me the ceremony is at 4:30 and cocktail hour is across town, I already know what the traffic is going to do to that plan.
I cap the year at fifteen weddings, and then I stop taking dates. That means I am the one standing in front of you all day, next to a second pro I have shot with for years. Twenty-one years in, the part I still care about most is the feeling. Love, fun, and a little bit of chaos, caught honestly. In all that time nobody has ever asked me what camera I used.
Why It Matters
What being fifteen minutes away buys you
The drive is the least of it. What matters is everything that happens before the drive. I can meet you at your venue for a walkthrough on a Tuesday afternoon without it becoming a whole production. If your florist moves the arbor or the ceremony gets pushed inside, I am fifteen minutes out, not ninety.
Being here also means I know the light. Burlington County is flat, open, and green, which is a gift. Unlike downtown Philadelphia, where tall buildings eat the sunset, out here golden hour actually shows up. That is why so many of these portraits have warm, low, late light in them. No filter did that. That is open sky plus a photographer who knows what time to walk you back outside.
And the county is more varied than people expect from a place they mostly drive past on the way to the shore. A big room like the Merion, a working farmstead in the middle of the Pinelands, a winery in Shamong, and quiet historic downtowns in Moorestown and Haddonfield. Completely different wedding days, all inside a twenty-five minute radius.

Bishop Farmstead · Southampton

Moorestown Community House · Moorestown
The next town over, and one of my favorite places to shoot because the options are so different. I have photographed a spring wedding at the Moorestown Community House and a full backyard wedding at a family home here. Both worked, for completely opposite reasons.
Valenzano Winery · Shamong
Vines, open sky, and a crowd that loosens up about ten minutes after they arrive. Burlington County wine country is a real thing and it photographs beautifully in late summer. See Yvonne and Bryan’s Valenzano wedding.
The Merion · Cinnaminson
Four weddings here over the years, one of them on New Year’s Eve. It is the big ballroom in this stretch of the county, and a room that size runs on a schedule. That suits me. It means I spend the night watching people instead of chasing light.
Collingswood Grand Ballroom · Collingswood
Three weddings here, and the reason I keep recommending it is what sits around it. Knight Park is right there in town, so we can step out for portraits under the trees and be back before cocktail hour is over. The whole night stays inside a few blocks.
Lucien’s Manor · Berlin
About twenty-five minutes south, and one of the bigger rooms in this part of South Jersey. Rebecca and Matt took over a second room there and rebuilt it from the ceiling down, and it is still the wedding I bring up first when somebody asks what Lucien’s can do. The Mansion on Main Street · Voorhees
Fifteen or twenty minutes southwest, depending on what Route 73 is doing. Ballroom weddings with big guest counts, which is its own skill. You have to keep moving all night and still come back with the quiet moments.
Trump National Golf Club · Pine Hill
Four weddings here, the first one back in 2012. Pine Hill is fourteen miles east of Center City, and the Philadelphia skyline sits right behind the ceremony aisle, which is rare on this side of the river. See Nicole and Dan’s spring wedding and Jennifer and Michael’s.
Smithville Park · Eastampton
My default recommendation for engagement sessions on this side of the county. The lake, the old mill buildings, and the covered bridge give you three different looks in one walk. Three of my favorites are here: Justine and Chris, Alicia and Marc, and Caitlynn and Nick.
Medford & Haddonfield
Medford in the fall is hard to beat, which is why Holly and Chris and Gina and Steve both ended up out there. And if you are still at the ask-her stage, I plan surprise proposals all over this area, including a hidden-camera bookstore proposal in Haddonfield.

Are you really based in Mount Laurel?
Yes. Jordan Brian Studios is based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and has been photographing weddings since 2005. Most of the weddings I shoot are within about a half hour of here, which is why a venue walkthrough or a coffee meeting is easy to schedule.
Which venues around Mount Laurel have you photographed?
There is no wedding venue inside Mount Laurel, so the honest answer is the ring around it. The Moorestown Community House next door, the Merion in Cinnaminson, the Collingswood Grand Ballroom, Lucien’s Manor in Berlin, the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, Trump National in Pine Hill, Valenzano Winery in Shamong, Bishop Farmstead in Southampton, and a backyard wedding in Moorestown. Engagement sessions at Smithville Park and all over Medford. If your venue is not on that list, it is almost certainly one I can be at in twenty minutes.
Do you travel outside South Jersey?
All the time. Philadelphia is twenty minutes west and the shore is about an hour east, and I photograph weddings across all of New Jersey and the Philadelphia suburbs. Being centrally located is one of the reasons I have never moved the studio.
Do you shoot video too?
Yes. Jordan Brian Studios does film as well as stills. Our own cinematographers shoot wedding video or full cinema, on its own or paired with photography, and they work the way I do: quiet and documentary. Nobody is going to ask you to redo your first kiss for the camera.
What if it rains?
I do not worry about weather and you should not either. We build multiple plans ahead of time so nothing catches us off guard, and I can make beautiful photos rain or shine. The word couples keep using in their reviews is organized, and that is the whole trick. A day that has been planned twice does not care what the sky does.
How quickly do we get our photos?
Sneak peeks within 72 hours, and your full color-corrected gallery within three to four weeks. You will not be sitting there in month three wondering where your wedding went.
