Seven years of WeddingWire Couples Choice Awards
The WeddingWire Couples Choice Award is not voted on by an industry panel. It comes straight from the couples, scored on the reviews real clients leave after their wedding. Winning it seven years running means the people I actually photographed kept showing up to say the work held up. That matters more to me than any award a magazine hands out.
I would like to offer a special thanks for all our 2016 couples that were absolutely amazing to work with. Thank you for honoring me with capturing your special moments together. This is our 7th year of winning the Philadelphia Weddingwire Couple’s Choice Awards. I am very excited about things to come in 2017.
What this means if you are still choosing a photographer
Reviews are the closest thing you get to riding along on someone else’s wedding day before you book. If you are reading down the WeddingWire page, read the ones that mention the parts you are nervous about, the timeline, the family photos, the rain plan, the delivery. That is where you learn how a photographer actually works when a day goes sideways. Twenty plus years in, five hundred plus weddings, and I still read every review that comes through.
