The Philadelphia fireman and the teacher . . . Jen and Neil are a really fun, down to Earth couple. I was excited to photograph their summer Cescaphe Ballroom wedding. I knew their friends and family would be super fun and they did not disappoint. We started off at the Sheraton Hotel. The room was across from the pool area where the lighting and reflections were incredible. We did a mini session with the bride and her bridesmaids in the pool area. The ceremony was in one of my favorite churches in Sacred Heart in Cinnaminson, NJ. Then we were off to Philadelphia to have fun with the bridal party and we planned on having a fire truck come. We then went over to Cescaphe Ballroom in Northern Liberties and to a few amazing urban locations. Rocking another Cescaphe wedding in Philadelphia! We even hit the bowling alley.

Cescaphe Ballroom in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia
The Cescaphe Ballroom sits in a converted industrial building in Northern Liberties, and the interior scale is what makes it distinct. High ceilings, dramatic chandeliers, and a room that holds a crowd without feeling cramped. It photographs differently at every wedding because the light shifts with the season and the time of night. A summer wedding in that space has a different feel than fall or winter, and the surrounding Northern Liberties neighborhood gives bridal party portraits a gritty urban backdrop that contrasts cleanly with the formal interior. There’s also a bowling alley nearby that Jen and Neil worked into their night, which is the kind of detail that makes a reception feel specific rather than generic.

The bowling alley next to the Cescaphe Ballroom is amazing and I highly suggest you check it out!

Summer Cescaphe Ballroom Wedding Reception
Jen & Neil’s summer Cescaphe Ballroom wedding was incredible. I love photographing a Cescaphe wedding in Philadelphia! The food, service, and staff were amazing as always. I truly enjoy working at Cescaphe Ballroom and other affiliated venues. The DJ was great and I love working with him. The night was just starting when Jen’s father did his live version of Bohemian Rhapsody with his thick Irish accent. We topped off the day with a special photobomb out front with a cute dog that was rocking a lamp shade. I loved spending time with Jen & Neil and all of their guests. I am excited for them to see their two canvas wall art pieces hanging in their new family home.
