Christine and Dennis are a seriously fun couple! So they had some serious fun at VUE on 50 wedding in Philadelphia. I loved working with them on their GTKY/Engagement session at FDR Park in Philadelphia. I was pretty excited for their wedding day.
They both had their preps at the Embassy Suites which has the most incredible views of Philadelphia looking toward the Art Museum and Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul. We did do some photographs on the balcony but I am terribly afraid of heights so I try to keep a good distance and not look down. This would be a theme for their day.
The ceremony took place at one of the most amazing locations in Philadelphia, The Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul. If you ever visit Philly should stop in and see how beautiful the architecture is inside and out. It was great too since they all were staying at the Embassy Suites across the street so they could just walk over for the ceremony.
I have seen a lot of unique bands and musical arrangements but theirs was really cool. It was a two-person live band that sang and did live instrument. They were able to play all different instruments and having some beats I am assuming pre-recorded for the background. Either way, they were super nice and a ton of fun. The couple at one point got up to do live keyboard solos during a song as they were sprayed with water bottles for effect. This added to the fun & looked awesome in the photographs.
Christina & Dennis are simply wonderful fun and light-hearted people. We created a beautiful heirloom album to tell the story of their day. They also received two Wall Art pieces one with City Hall in the background and one on top of the tower overlooking the city. I wish them the best!

VUE on 50 Wedding Reception
The Vista Room at the VUE on 50 venue was where their reception took place. It is an amazing location if you want views of the entire city and not so amazing if you are afraid of heights like myself 😉 After photographing them at City Hall we went to the bottom of the building venue where they have this cool fountain and park. We went up 50+ floors to shoot on the front and back open balconies. My legs were definitely shaky up there but I tried to focus to create some awesome work for Christine and Dennis.
The sunset at VUE on 50 weddings are breathtaking and photographs don’t do them justice!
