Sara & Anthony’s wedding at the Four Seasons Philadelphia was one for the books! This Midwest couple planned their perfect Philly wedding remotely, and their big day was nothing short of amazing. With absolutely ideal weather (sunny, warm, and just a gentle breeze), and it was genuinely one of the best days of the year.

The Four Seasons Philadelphia sits atop the Comcast Technology Center, the tallest building in Pennsylvania, which opened in 2019 as the city’s first Four Seasons property. The Sky Lounge on the 60th floor delivers a full 360-degree panorama of the Philadelphia skyline, the Delaware River, and on clear days, even the Jersey Shore. It is one of the only venues in the region where ceremony, portraits, and rooftop moments can all happen under the same roof with genuinely jaw-dropping backdrops at every turn. For couples considering the best Philadelphia wedding venues, it sits at the top of the list for good reason.
Getting Ready at Four Seasons Philadelphia
The excitement kicked off at the Four Seasons, where both Sara and Anthony prepared in style. Anthony and his groomsmen hung out in one of the hotel suites, relaxing and joking in true laid-back fashion. Meanwhile, Sara and her bridesmaids enjoyed champagne, delicious bites, and laughter in a beautifully prepared private room. It set the tone for a fun, relaxed day.
Sara’s final preparations took place in a gorgeous suite overlooking Philadelphia. It was an intimate and calm moment shared with just her mom and photographers, capturing her excitement and the quiet elegance of her bridal portraits.

First Look at the Four Seasons Sky Lounge Bar
The couple’s first look took place at the incredible Sky Lounge Bar, famous for its jaw-dropping, 360-degree views of Philadelphia. When Anthony first saw Sara, it was pure magic, an emotional moment filled with tears, joy, and laughter. The two embraced, enjoying a quiet moment together against the city’s beautiful skyline. Their playful and genuine vibe shined through as we photographed them, even recreating a romantic cinematic scene inspired by “Fight Club.” This special image later became a beautiful canvas print in their home.

Wedding Party Photos at Four Seasons & Headhouse Square
We captured gorgeous images of the wedding party at the Four Seasons, using its sleek interior design, including a striking wooden-slatted wall backdrop. We then stepped outside to find hidden gems, discovering lush greenery and a chic gray wall for unique portraits.
Next, we ventured into Philadelphia’s historic Headhouse Square. With its charming cobblestone streets, cozy greenery, and twinkling string lights, this area is truly an underrated gem in Philadelphia. Sara and Anthony explored alleyways and hidden nooks, making the session feel like a fun adventure. The portraits were filled with genuine laughter, capturing the couple’s playful personality perfectly.

Wedding Ceremony at Four Seasons Philadelphia
Back at the Four Seasons, their ceremony decor, expertly designed by Shannon Wellington, featured lush cream and white florals, elegant mirrored walkways, and natural sunlight pouring through expansive windows. A special touch was having one of their close friends officiate, making the ceremony deeply personal. After saying “I do,” Sara and Anthony shared a private embrace away from guests, a sweet, intimate moment perfectly capturing the emotion of the day.

Four Seasons Philadelphia Wedding Reception
Anthony, a talented contemporary chef, personally selected many items for cocktail hour and dinner, ensuring every dish was memorable. The couple’s reaction upon seeing the reception room was priceless. Their jaws dropped at Shannon Wellington’s incredible transformation of the space.
The reception kicked off with a romantic first dance and heartfelt speeches from loved ones. The party atmosphere quickly followed, with their small but mighty wedding party keeping the energy high all night, fueled by fantastic music from Eclipse Entertainers.

Espresso Martini Tower at Four Seasons Wedding Reception
Sara and Anthony put their own spin on a classic tradition, swapping the traditional champagne tower for an espresso martini tower. This unique twist made for playful, stylish photos. They also posed in front of their custom floral wall featuring their names in glowing neon, a perfect backdrop for their celebration.

Rooftop Balcony Portraits at Four Seasons Philadelphia
One of the hidden gems at the Four Seasons is their incredible outdoor balcony with amazing city views. Mid-reception, we whisked Sara and Anthony away for a few moments of calm and quiet, letting them recharge before returning to the dance floor. These short breaks provided beautiful, intimate images, capturing their genuine happiness and the city lights around them.

Sara and Anthony’s day was incredible, filled with laughter, joy, and genuine connections. Their playful promise during vows to “always be weird together” perfectly summed up their deep love and partnership.
Congratulations, Sara and Anthony, may your future be as fun, genuine, and joyful as your incredible wedding day!
