Layla & Chad were completely amazing to work with for their fall Cescaphe VIE wedding. I had an incredible time for their Philadelphia engagement photos and could not wait to work with them again. They both had their pre-wedding preps at Hotel Palomar in Philadelphia. I have not photographed there before but it is a very unique modern space with a private library in the middle of the building where Layla & Chad had their reveal/first look at. We photographed behind the Art Museum in Philadelphia before we were off to their Cescaphe VIE wedding ceremony.

Cescaphe VIE: Philadelphia’s Outdoor Garden Venue
Cescaphe VIE sits inside the former Loews theater building in Northern Liberties, but it’s the outdoor ceremony terrace that sets it apart from the Cescaphe Ballroom a few blocks away. The back patio opens to open sky, and couples have full flexibility to design the space around custom florals, which Beautiful Blooms handles as the in-house florist. Layla and Chad rented century-old bonsai trees for the tables, a detail that read quietly in photographs but gave the room a texture that no standard centerpiece produces. Ed Rendell officiating made the ceremony feel specific to Philadelphia in a way that’s hard to manufacture.
Wedding Portraits at Art Museum
I absolutely love photographing behind the art museum and by waterworks. The trees, lighting and background offer so many different locations to create at with the couple and their bridal parties. Also parking is free and quite easy at the parking lot off of Kelly Drive.
Fall Cescaphe Vie wedding Ceremony
Philadelphia’s ex-mayor Ed Rendell was the officiant for their ceremony outside on the back patio for Layla’s Cescaphe VIE wedding ceremony. They did an absolutely beautiful job with the custom floral arrangement for the ceremony and for the room. They had rented century old Bonzai trees for the tables and also place card table. Beautiful Blooms always creates stunning pieces and bridal bouquets for weddings. The fact that they are the in house florist really makes things very easy for couples that get married at Cescaphe venues.
