Mary Beth had her bridal preps at The Sofitel hotel in Philadelphia. She put on her Alvina Valenta designer dress and she was almost ready to rock. After some random stranger photobombs with Matt and his groomsmen, it was time for the groom to see the beautiful bride for the first time in her dress. They had their reveal/first look in Rittenhouse square then we were off to their Fairmount Park Horticulture Center Wedding!
The Fairmount Park Horticultural Center sits inside one of the largest urban parks in the country, tucked among 36 acres of botanical gardens just minutes from Center City Philadelphia. Built as a Victorian greenhouse for the 1876 Centennial Exhibition, it blends exposed brick, glass ceilings, and lush greenery into a setting that feels completely removed from the city outside. The surrounding park grounds open up dozens of portrait locations, from wooded paths to open meadows, that you won’t find at any traditional ballroom venue. Winter weddings here carry a particular magic, the bare trees and soft light creating a quiet drama that no summer flowers could replicate.
