Danielle & Denny’s Loews Hotel Philadelphia wedding was elegant fun. That’s the best way to describe it! A few years ago, Danielle was a bridesmaid at Tia & Brian’s Windows on the Water wedding. Their wedding day was just as magical as their engagement session at the Magic Gardens in Philly.
The Loews Philadelphia is one of those venues that just gets it right. It’s a historic landmark, the original PSFS building, with art deco bones and modern luxury layered on top. The rooms are massive and the natural light is incredible for getting-ready coverage. The president’s suite stretches almost the entire length of the hotel, which is a dream for big bridal parties. And the rooftop has one of the best Philly skyline views in the city. If you’re booking a hotel wedding in Center City, this is the one I always recommend.

Getting Ready at Loews Hotel Philadelphia
The rooms at the Loews are so beautiful, modern, and spacious. In addition, they have a president’s suite for really huge bridal parties that is almost the length of the entire side of the hotel. It was so amazing seeing Tia again in Danielle’s bridal party, but the flower girls stole the show. The flower girls probably used about 10 lbs of lip gloss on this day, and we captured every bit!

The Ceremony at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church
Danielle & Denny had a gorgeous fall day! We put the drone up to capture some scene-setter footage before the ceremony, and the Philly skyline was vibrant blue enveloping the buildings. St. Paul’s church in Philly looks incredible with its classical architecture and warm, bright murals.

Old City Portraits with the Bridal Party
The sun was shining, Benjamin Franklin was walking around, and the bridal party was down to clown! We had a damn good time in Old City before getting back to Loews for some rooftop daytime photography. Most couples take photographs on the roof at night, but the daytime views of the bridges, city, and river are unreal!
The Loews rooftop is a goldmine for couples photos, day or night. We grabbed daytime portraits up there with Danielle and Denny because the fall light was too good to pass up. Most couples save the rooftop for nighttime, and it’s gorgeous then too with the city lit up below, but the daytime version with the sun hitting the buildings is just as good and gets missed too often.

A Fall Reception at the Loews Hotel Philadelphia
One of my favorite venue managers, Huajiayu, makes everything run like butter for Loews hotel wedding receptions. We love working at the Loews and especially taking the couples out for some night photographs! There is a hot spot right around the corner at the Canopy Hotel with very cool elegant vibes at night. Danielle & Denny’s dancefloor was packed with their loved ones, ready to party after multiple date changes due to covid.

I could not have asked for a more kind, natural, fun, and sweet couple! I wish them the best and can’t wait for them to have little ones to document their growing family! For now, they have two custom albums and wall art pieces from both their Philadelphia engagement sessions and their wedding to relive this time in their lives.
