Stacy and Joe are a really fun couple and always up for a lot of laughs. We started the day with Stacy getting ready at her parent’s house. She had a beautiful dress that she got from Kleinfeld Bridal and awesome bright orange heels. Of course, we did some portraits with her golden retriever. They had a beautiful ceremony at St. Peter and Paul RC Church in Turnersville, New Jersey.
After their ceremony, we drove over to Philadelphia and did some portraits before their reception at Vie. They took their classic Rolls-Royce over to Broad Street and we photographed in front of City Hall. There was actually a street band performing and, of course, we had to photobomb. We then photographed with the bridal party behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I actually paid a guy two dollars out of my pocket to jump rope in front of the bridal party just for fun. We took the bridal party over to the Rodin Museum to shoot with the couple. It is one of my favorite spots in the city! We had about 3 hours of shooting time built into their schedule so we got to go everywhere. More of their photographs from their amazing Summer Cescaphe VIE wedding reception in Philadelphia will be coming up shortly on the next post.
Vie Wedding bridal portraits
About Cescaphe at Vie: Vie is the warehouse-turned-ballroom in the Cescaphe family, sitting on North Broad Street in what used to be a 1910 industrial building. The room is enormous, with 25-foot ceilings, exposed steel beams, and a 60-foot crystal chandelier that became the venue’s signature the moment it went in. Couples regularly use the chandelier as the anchor for first-dance shots because nothing else in Philly looks quite like it. Vie also hosts the largest receptions Cescaphe books, with capacity north of 350. Like the rest of the family, food comes from the in-house culinary team, and the cocktail hour menu is one of the strongest in the city.
After we photographed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, we went over to the Rodin Museum with the bridal party. We had a lot of fun doing Stacy & Joe’s portraits in front of the museum. The elegance of the Rodin Museum really added to the classic feel of Stacy & Joe’s portraits. Once we were done portraits, we headed over to Vie for their reception. Vie is one of my favorite venues by the Cescaphe Group. If you’re looking for a place that easily holds more than 250 people comfortably, I highly recommend it. The Central Park Band provided entertainment for the evening and they had an absolute blast.

The outdoor back area of Vie has pretty stringed lights that are perfect for a night shoot. I brought Stacy & Joe outside and ended the night with some portraits of the couple smoking cigars together. Stacy & Joe have an incredible album and beautiful wall art to show off how amazing their day was. I had an absolute blast working with them and wish them nothing but the best in the future. I love photographing a Cescaphe VIE wedding in Philadelphia!

What makes Vie different from the rest of Cescaphe
Stacy and Joe picked Vie because of the chandelier. That is the honest answer most couples give when you ask, and Stacy and Joe were no different. The room reads warehouse-modern from the outside but the moment guests look up they see the 60-foot crystal piece anchoring the ceiling, and the whole space changes. Central Park Band kept the floor packed for the entire reception, which Vie’s wide footprint handles better than any other Cescaphe property.
