Brianne & Michael’s Laurel Creek Country Club Wedding was epic! I knew when I saw them walking to my studio from their car that we had a special connection. This couple is light-hearted, natural and filled with style.
A word on where this all happened. Laurel Creek Country Club sits in Mount Laurel, right in the heart of South Jersey, and the golf course it wraps around is an Arnold Palmer signature design. That pedigree shows up across the grounds, which give you clean fairways, mature trees, and water features that photograph beautifully in soft afternoon light. The clubhouse leans classic and warm, and that wood-shelved library where Brianne got ready is one of my favorite getting-ready rooms in the area. For couples who want a private club feel without crossing far from Philadelphia, it is a strong pick, and it gives my team plenty of room to work both inside and out.
All the details and bridal preparations took place on location at Laurel Creek in the small library filled with beautiful natural light and luxurious wood shelving and decor. There was such a beautiful moment when her father came in to see Brianne in her wedding dress for the first time, and she had made a present for her parents that was very touching as well.
After her preps, Michael and Brianne met for the first time. Their first look/reveal was emotional and romantic. The had tears of joy and happiness as they could not stop staring at each other. These moments as they are incredible to document.
The bridal party was phenomenal! I photographed one of her bridesmaid’s weddings a few years back, so I knew some of their friends already. Brianne surprised Michael by flying in an American Indian spiritual advisor that he is close with from the Midwest. He was absolutely the coolest guy too, and I am honestly jealous that he has hair that is about two feet long and I have less hair than Homer Simpson.
Weddings usually have a classic white Rolls Royce or a typical limo, but Brianne’s father surprised her with bringing his old vintage 1950s car with custom decal made just for her day. When the vehicle became unveiled, she fell to her knees in tears because how much this gesture meant to her. The car was the perfect fit for their style and personalities that it was like almost like part of them.
The ceremony was also beautiful and emotional. The American Indian priest came up and performed some of the ceremony with a few traditional items like sharing of the water and being wrapped in a custom handmade blanket that was created just for them. Michael finished it off with a serious dip and kiss before they started to party.
And party they did! The toasts were terrific and heartfelt, the dances filled with love and they danced and danced. Michael even sang to her while Brianne’s brother played guitar and her father played drums.
It is hard to put into words how I felt about this wedding. I loved working with this couple and am blessed to be apart of it. Also, I am thankful for them to allow me to document their day. Best wishes to this couple in love……..

Laurel Creek Country Club Wedding Ceremony – Indoors
They held the ceremony indoors, where the room kept the focus tight on the two of them and the traditions they had woven into the day, from the sharing of the water to the handmade blanket wrapped around their shoulders.

Laurel Creek Country Club Wedding Reception
The reception turned into a full family jam session, with Michael singing to Brianne while her brother played guitar and her father kept time on drums. The energy on the floor carried straight through the night.

Laurel Creek is one of the South Jersey clubs we come back to again and again, and Brianne and Michael’s day is a perfect example of why. See where it lands among the best Philadelphia-area wedding venues we have photographed. With a second photographer on hand all day, we were able to cover the library prep, the first look, and the dance floor without ever making this fun couple wait on us.
