I love working with Monica & Joe. They are such a fun couple which made for an amazing Curtis Center wedding! We started with the whole bridal party getting ready at the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia. The girls were up for some serious partying, hence the flask built into the maid of honor’s garter. The ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Parish. The priest, as you can see in the photographs, almost fell asleep in his chair while giving the middle finger (hopefully not on purpose). It was a cold wedding day in February for Monica & Joe but they all sported great attitudes. Check out the second portion of their winter Curtis Center Wedding in Philadelphia in the next post…
The bridesmaid helping Monica with her dress recorded a video of how to do the lacing. This is super smart to do!
The priest needs a five hour energy and to stop stretching out his middle fingers….
Monica & Joe rocked in the seriously cold winter weather for their Curtis Center wedding photographs in Washington Square Park in Philadelphia. Washington Square Park is awesome because it is right across from their bridal suite at The Atrium at the Curtis Center. Whenever we get extreme weather (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.) it is great to be able to go inside and take breaks. It makes everyone more happy and comfortable. Their bridal party was amazing too, despite the cold, and we were having so much fun that one of the groomsmen totally fell right on his ass in one of the photographs you will see below.
They had a beautiful reception at The Curtis Center in Philadelphia. I love Curtis Center Weddings and I am there at least 2-3 times a year and just love working with all the staff. The Curtis Center has an awesome layout for receptions too. Monica & Joe had beautiful warm colored uplighting and they strutted through the shooting rose pedals when they were announced into the reception. I love working with Monica & Joe and can’t wait to finish their album and create some beautiful Wall Art for them.
Love using my infrared camera at Washington Square Park in Philadelphia. Next two photographs are also infrared..
Thats me creeping in the background with my Contax 645! Thanks to my awesome 2nd shooter Wayne for capturing this.
Yep that groomsmen in the front ate it!
Joe’s grandfather passed away about two weeks before the wedding and the family is watching the slide-show that I made them.
