Ventnor beach Engagement photos – Simona & Brandon

Hot Damn! Simona & Brandon had a ridiculous session for their Ventnor beach engagement photos. I love when couples really put a lot of effort into helping stylize their sessions. They enjoyed some chilled champagne on the beach. They finished their liquid courage before checking out underneath the awesome pier at the beach. I brought some of my vintage TLR Mamiya cameras for them to photograph each other with. They had way too much fun with them.

We hit the boardwalk with their little pooch and rode some bicycles before changing into their evening attire. We went to check out this quaint little pier on the bayside and you can see in the background a huge line of thunderstorms starting to roll in towards us. They got into their Audi S5 and they were off until we meet again at The Atrium at the Curtis Center this spring for their wedding! I love shooting Ventnor Beach engagement photos!

Ventnor City sits just south of Atlantic City on Absecon Island, a quieter stretch of South Jersey shore that most visitors skip on their way to the casino strip. The beachfront here is wide and uncrowded compared to nearby resort beaches, which makes it a genuinely great spot for engagement portraits. The old Ventnor pier that juts out over the water dates to the resort era of the early 1900s, when Ventnor attracted Philadelphia families looking for a slightly more low-key Atlantic coast escape. Shooting here on a weekday means you get all of that scenery with almost no crowds in the background.

A good tip for shooting engagement photos down the shore is to do them during the week as there will not be drones of people in your photographs.
