Ally and Jeff had a steamy hot English Manor wedding in Ocean Township, New Jersey. The English Manor is a quiet hidden gem off the main road, with stunning grounds, open garden ceremony space, and the kind of indoor and outdoor flexibility you want for a summer day. We had already photographed their get-to-know-you engagement session in Dallas, Texas, and spent two solid days with them out there, so we were pretty much already family by the time the wedding rolled around.
About The English Manor
The English Manor sits on a quiet five-acre estate in Ocean Township, New Jersey, about ten minutes inland from Asbury Park and the Jersey Shore. The property opened as a wedding-only venue in 1980 inside a converted Tudor-style mansion, with stone walkways, manicured English gardens, an ornate iron arbor for outdoor ceremonies, and a single grand ballroom that seats up to 230 guests under crystal chandeliers. Fun fact, the estate hosts only one wedding per day, which is why the bridal suite, ceremony lawn, and ballroom feel like your own private home for the entire day. Most weekend weddings here run 150 to 200 guests with the ceremony on the back lawn at golden hour and the reception inside the manor.

The English Manor wedding ceremony
The outdoor ceremony area at The English Manor is like a dream. The ornate metal arbor feels classical without trying too hard, and the stone walkway leading to it is one of those small architectural details that makes processional photographs come alive. Our second photographer worked the back of the aisle while I held the front for the vows, which gave Ally and Jeff full coverage of every reaction.

Ally and Jeff got married in the middle of the summer, so the ballroom held natural light through most of the reception. We had a ridiculous time together. Jeff is not much of a dancer, but he loves hanging out with his friends, talking, and smoking hand rolled cigars. Toward the end of the night we pulled the couple outside for a quick night session. A super moon rose over the manor and set off the closing chapter of their story with one final, quiet portrait under the night sky.
