Lane & Peter’s Rehoboth Beach Country Club wedding was pretty amazing!!! They had a plane flying over the ceremony, an awesome beach house for the guys, and perfect weather for their big day. I started off with the guys doing their preps. I tend to not spend as much time with the groom and groomsmen as they usually want a little breathing room and I like to keep it very low-key and fun. Also, I almost always do groom portraits in black and white film. Guys simply look cool in black and white! We walked up to the crowded beach to shoot a little bit before heading over to the Rehoboth Beach Country Club to be with the girls.

Rehoboth Beach Country Club
Rehoboth Beach Country Club is a private club on the western shore of Rehoboth Bay in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, about two hours south of Philadelphia. The club was established in the early 20th century and features an 18-hole golf course, a bay-side clubhouse, and a waterfront dock. That dock is one of the better photography locations at any Delaware beach wedding venue, wide enough to hold a full bridal party and stable, not floating. The bay sits behind it and the sky opens up completely. Rehoboth Beach Country Club Wedding Bridal Preps
When shooting the bridal preps I love to use natural light and the venue is just wrapped in windows, except the bridal suite. Typically I use the room they use as rain backup for ceremonies for all the bridal preps as it is so pretty with the window light wrapping around the room. Also I love the preps photographed in black and white as it shows just the raw emotion and fun they are having without any distraction from background colors & etc.
Rehoboth Beach Country Club Wedding Portraits
The dock at Rehoboth Beach Country Club is incredible! You can fit a giant bridal party on it and its not a floating dock so its 100% stable. The bay behind it is beautiful as well for the background of the photographs. Lane & Peter’s bridal party were so fun to photograph. They were just perfect and totally laid back. We finished off the session with just the couple at the practice green by their custom cocktail hour tent.
