Melissa and Gabe are definitely a couple down for some fun. A good example of their awesome energy would be the full on grass fight they had during their GTKY session last year. The day started off great with everyone on time and their cocker spaniel was “loving” the flower girl as she was going up the stairs. Melissa is a stunning, classic beauty. Her flowers were from Addie Rose. Their ceremony was held at St. Patrick’s Church in Woodbury. The light was amazing for their creative session in our shooting location post ceremony. We were finally off to Lucien’s Manor for some party time. My favorite Maitre d by the name of Thomas was working in their room as well. Thomas has been there for years and he is like an O.G. there. If you don’t know what O.G. means, look it up and get with it! Melissa surprised Gabriel with a belly dancer half way through the evening, and this lovely dancer even taught them how to (belly?) dance. I must admit I also learned some moves and shook my money-maker. Gabriel’s grandfather flew in from Peru to attend the wedding. He did not speak one word the entire time we were around him, but nonetheless for many other indescribable reasons, he was awesome. He was easily one of the top 5 grandparents of 2010. And oh yes- we are keeping a top five grandparents list each year. Best wishes to the sweet couple and their cocker spaniel.

Just a simple image created with their good friends, and then…..
The platform of the sweetheart table collapes in the middle 😉
This is his grandfather that was flown in from Peru and his mother walking away after they danced together at the end of the night. This is one of my favorite captures from the day as who knows when the grandfather will see his daughter again after he flies back to Peru.
